Dr. Samir Grover
Dr. Samir Grover is the medical director of Don Valley Integrated Digestive Clinic. He is a gastroenterologist and education researcher at University of Toronto. Dr. Grover trained in the MD program at the University of Toronto (2001) and completed internal medicine (2005) and gastroenterology residencies (2006) at the University of Toronto. After completing these, Dr. Grover pursued a clinical fellowship in Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy with the Wellesley Group in 2007. He completed a Masters of Education in Higher Education in the Health Professions at Ontario Institute for Studies in Education in 2009.
He was recruited to the Division of Gastroenterology at St. Michael's Hospital in 2009, and currently serves as the site postgraduate education director. Dr. Grover's research is in the use of virtual reality endoscopic simulation as a medium for teaching endoscopic skills to gastroenterology postgraduate trainees.
Dr. Grover sees patients at St. Michael's Hospital. He has an interest in eosinophilic disorders of the GI tract. He is responsible for the medical strategy and vision of Don Valley Digestive.
